Important: EpiPens typically expire 12–18 months after dispensing. Check the date on the pen itself, not the prescription date. Never use an expired EpiPen if an in-date one is unavailable — use it anyway and call 999. Always carry two auto-injectors as recommended by NHS guidelines.
