ProductSafer is a product-safety platform that helps households scan products, check ingredients, manage allergies, and receive relevant recall alerts. Point your camera at a barcode for an instant safety check, save it to your household vault, and we'll watch for recalls on your behalf — from the UK's FSA and OPSS as well as the US FDA and CPSC.

Underneath the tools sits an independent research library: we monitor peer-reviewed journals, government health agencies, and trusted science publications, and summarise what we find in plain English, categorised and linked back to the original source. How it works

   Saved products are matched against official UK and US recall feeds, both going forward and against the existing backlog, not just new notices.
