Brands and products to watch

Brand names catch the most: a recall notice almost always names the brand.

Stripe asks for a card. You won’t be charged until day 15, then £19 a month. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.

Which recalls do you check?

UK: the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) product recalls and the Food Standards Agency (FSA) recalls and allergy alerts. US: FDA and CPSC recalls, which matter if you sell or import US brands. We check every morning and email you the same morning when something matches.

How does matching work?

Official recall notices name products and brands in plain text; they don’t carry barcodes. We match the brand and product names on your list against each new notice, and match watched categories on keywords (for example, “high chair” or “bed rail”). Use it alongside your own checks, not instead of them.

Can’t I just sign up to the government alerts?

You can, and they’re free. The difference is filtering: those emails cover every recall. We send only the ones that match the brands and categories you watch, and cover UK and US sources in one email.

How do I cancel?

Every alert email and your welcome email include a link to manage your list and open billing, where you can cancel in two clicks. If you cancel during the free trial, you pay nothing.
