FDA investigates outbreaks of Cyclospora, Salmonella, and Listeria

The FDA is investigating three new foodborne illness outbreaks involving Cyclospora, Salmonella and Listeria, and has not identified a food source for any of them. The Salmonella Javiana outbreak has 106 confirmed patients, the Listeria monocytogenes outbreak has eight, and the Cyclospora outbreak has 72. The FDA says the Cyclospora outbreak does not appear to be part of a larger 34-state Cyclospora outbreak, which has sickened thousands. Check the FDA's outbreak notices for updates.
