Eden Brothers is recalling Calabrese Broccoli Seeds (lots 1022067, 1022068; supplier lot W4105) sold via EdenBrothers.com and Amazon after its supplier flagged possible Salmonella. No illnesses reported.

What happened

Eden Brothers LLC is recalling Calabrese Broccoli Seeds because its supplier said they may be contaminated with Salmonella. The recall was announced by the FDA on October 7, 2026.

Affected products

  • Brand: Eden Brothers
  • Product: Broccoli Seeds - Calabrese, Packet (Item Code SVBRO111-qb1), 1 Ounce (SVBRO111-qb2), and 1 Pound (SVBRO111-qb4)

  • Use By: 2026
  • Sold through EdenBrothers.com and Amazon.com from July 8 through September 28, 2026, shipped nationwide

The risk

Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy people may have short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. No illnesses have been reported to date.

What to do

Stop using the seeds. Do not plant, sprout, eat, share or use them to grow microgreens. Seal them in a bag and throw them in household trash, not compost. Wash hands and any surfaces or containers that touched the seeds. Eden Brothers offers a full refund; request it through the recall reply form. Questions: call 855-440-2929 (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET) or email service@edenbrothers.com.
